Tours for 2009

The African Heritage Institute is planning a trip to Africa in August 1-15, 2009. We will visit Tanzania and Kenya. The tentative cost for the trip is $6000. This will include a round trip ticket, lodging & board for two weeks, and travel within and between the two countries. We are planning to stay a week in each country. AHI is planning to establish a Learning Center in Kenya.

Visit the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, Ohio with the African Heritage Institute. Learn and experience history on August 14- 16, 2009. The cost is $275.00 which includes the roundtrip bus fare, hotel stay for two nights, (double occupancy), and tickets for the tour of the center.

The African Heritage Institute

The AHSI-AHII Traveling Museum and Heritage Library is housed at 417 Elizabeth Drive, Greenville, South Carolina. It is opened weekly on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1:00pm – 5:00pm and other times by appointment only. It has grown too large to travel in its entirety, however parts of it travels upon request.
